Confident win over Partizan let the army men to receive the Top 16 berth with three games left in the regular season.

CSKA vs. Partizan Belgrade: 78-61 (+17)

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:
Obviously it was a good game for our team. The offensive flow was probably the best for us this season. There were some strange feeling in the beginning because the opponents missed their point guard Westermann and we missed power forward Erceg and center Krstic. Still we were able to control post-up situations, fought for rebounds. Vorontsevich was great on both ends of the floor, Sokolov helped a lot, Kaun played good game. The only problem is that sometimes we did not pass well, over-dribble the ball, slowed our offense, but most time of the game we moved the ball and defended well.
