Center Viacheslav Kravtsov (28 y.o, 213 cm) signed short-term contract with our club.

The agreement is valid until the end of December but it can be terminated after every month. At the same time the coaching staff does not include the possibility to let the player stay until the end of the season if he proves that he deserves to be on the roster. The contract comes into act after the medical tests tomorrow.

Kravtsov came from Kiev in the afternoon and joined CSKA practice immediately. He also appeared on the fan meeting.

The Odessa native started his pro career in BC Kiev (2005-10) then moved to Donetsk for two more seasons. He was named the Best Center in Ukraine three times and became country’s champion in 2012. Kravtsov played one season for Detroit and another for Phoenix. He averaged 2.2 points, 1.4 rebounds, 0.2 assists, 0.1 steals, 0.2 blocked shots in 6.3 minutes of 45 NBA games. Slava played in China last year.

Kravtsov is the Ukrainian National Team player. He defended its colors during 2011 Eurobasket (7.0 points, 6.6 rebounds) and 2013 Eurobasket (7.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocked shots).
