CSKA won the 4th game of the half finals series and qualified to the finals. The rival would be determined in the 5th game of Dynamo St.Petersburg – Khimki series. The last game in Kazan came hard for the Army club. It took a lead for the first time only with a minute and a half to go.

UNICS - CSKA: 69-73

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

- I would like to congratulate UNICS with the fact they made us to show our best basketball for all the series long. Tonight it took us more than 20 minutes to build our regular defense after their run in the first quarter. We could not keep on playing with the same effort tonight as we did yesterday. I know we should have played better. But now we would face Dynammo or Khimki in the finals. Both teams are not easy rivals. But we have a rare chance to win three titles in one season. I hope the fact can be the motivation for my players.

We made a mistake as we did not have a regular practice in the morning. We watched the video instead. I should not try to make such a things with this team. The player started to think that I suppose the series to be done.
