The first quarterfinal game of Russian Cup finished as you can expect when the best team in Europe meets the representative of Superleague B. After the fireworks of threes CSKA destroyed Sibirtelekom-Lokomotiv - 113-48.

CSKA vs. Sibirtelecom: 113-48

Ettore Messina, CSKA head coach:

We had not the best start. In the second half we showed good concentration and, what is more important, very good rhythm. We tried to play small without centers because we wanted to see some new options for the team, to see the five which can press defensively and to play more open in offense.

Sergey Zozulin, Lokomotiv head coach:

When we play disciplined game, when we execute our game plan we can at least compete against CSKA. But we began to hurry and it is equal to death against the roster our opponents have. All our problems started from offense, from the shots on 8th second. This was the reason of 44-7 third quarter which I couldnt even critisize.
